Meatopia Glasgow is Back!
Your Guide to Meatopia On-Fire Glasgow 2026
It's Good to be Back!
Last year was Meatopia’s inaugural event in Scotland, and we couldn’t have hoped for a community to welcome us more than that of Glasgow. We ate, we drank and we celebrated in true Scottish style (rain, sun, hail)!
This year, we’ve upped the ante, adding more chefs, bringing more iconic fire cooked dishes to the event. We’re joining you on a huge weekend for the nation, with the Tartan Army launching their World Cup Campaign, and we have a small army of our own, with 42 chefs over the weekend. They’re all primed and ready to get some delicious flame-kissed food into your hands.
We’re delighted to be welcoming so many of our Glasgow chefs, some old, some new – the ratio of homegrown talent speaks volumes about how much great food is being cooked in this city. We’ve enjoyed some great scran on our tasting sessions (yes, we taste everything before it comes to the show) and we can’t wait for you to get stuck in.
We’re also welcoming the mighty Ali Clem, from Texas USA! This is her first time in Scotland and she’s really looking forward to meeting you all and showing you how Texas barbecue is done - this is one of the only dishes we haven’t had a chance to try, so catch us in the queue.
If you’ve ever joined us in London, you’ll know our very good friends The Johans from Holy Smoke BBQ Sweden, they too are making their debut in Scotland. We speak from experience when we say these guys know a good time.
We’d be nothing without our partners - special thanks to our old pals Quality Meat Scotland for providing the protein power for The Cutting Room stage, even older pals YETI who have kitted us out with their world class coolers and our new amigos Beavertown for bringing their exceptional brews to Meatopia Glasgow.
So, throw a match in the fire and caution to the wind and let’s begin!
